What is normal posture?

The posture that does not cause any strain on the musculoskeletal system, in which the normal curvature of the body is preserved and the forces applied to the joints are distributed in a balanced manner, is called normal posture or normal posture. Good posture training starts from childhood. Poor posture may be the cause of many rheumatic diseases, organ disorders and mental disorders that may be encountered in later life.
What is lordosis?
Lordosis, known as a posture disorder, occurs with the increase of normal dimpling in the lumbar region and manifests itself.
What is kyphosis?
Kyphosis is the forward rounding of the upper back (thoracic spine). Some degree of rolling is normal, but the term "kyphosis" generally refers to an exaggerated rounding of more than 40 to 45 degrees. What is cycliosis? Scoliosis is a lateral curvature of the spine that can be seen in the thoracic or lumbar regions. It can be alone or accompanied by kyphosis (an abnormal curvature from back to front) (Kyphoscoliosis).
How to know if there is posture disorder?
When viewed from the front or back, it can be seen on the vertical axis as a lateral shift of the body (scoliosis). Another way to determine this is if the body is thought to be tilted 90 degrees forward from the hip, when viewed from the head or hip side, there is a lateral skew in the axis of the spine or an imbalance between the shoulders. This situation can be understood by the fact that the above waist is significantly shorter. In addition, when the body is viewed from the sides, the vertical axis of the ears does not pass in line with the shoulders. What are the causes of posture disorder? These appearance disorders can occur and progress due to mistakes made in childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age. The main reasons are as follows:
¬ It may occur due to past accidents or crashes. Due to the unconscious approach of the family during childhood and infancy, it is the wearing of very tight clothes, too tight waist belts, wearing the wrong shoes and the wrong swaddling of babies.
¬ During school years, children carrying heavy backpacks, unsuitable school desks, and wrong sitting style are effective reasons.
¬ Disorders caused by the rapid growth of adolescents, not paying attention to their own posture, or bending forward and walking due to wantingness.
¬ Disorders caused by the desire of women to hide their physical changes during adolescence or to bend forward due to their large breasts.
For women, it may also occur over time due to insufficient support for large breasts.
¬ In business life, sitting incorrectly on a chair or seat for a long time, not looking at the computer screen from an appropriate distance, and not having the screen at head level are also factors.
¬ It has a great effect on posture disorders. It cannot be expected that the posture of someone who works in heavy jobs and the person who only carries out his work from a desk is the same. But posture disorders can occur in the same way.
¬ The corsets used (if combined with weak muscles), too tightly worn hard fabric clothes (if combined with weak muscles), the tightness of the belt wearing, the wrong shoes can cause these.
¬ Inactivity and feeling tired, sagging of the shoulders due to brain-muscle relationship is permanent over time. Weakness of the waist, abdomen and back muscles can also cause such problems, and the weakening of the leg and hip muscles may increase these complaints.
¬ The most important and common thing is that the front group muscles of the body are frequently exercised during training, while the back group muscles are ignored. This includes the hamstring muscles. What can posture disorders cause?
¬ The most common complaints are chronic neck, shoulder, back and waist pain.
¬ The problem of humpback may occur in later years.
¬ In the following years, it may cause calcification in the neck area.
¬ The droopy and forward curvature problem in the shoulders may cause compression of the veins and nerves that pass under the scapula over time.
¬ Most importantly, image disorder can affect the person psychologically and cause him to abstain.
How can posture disorder be eliminated? If the posture disorder that occurs is not caused by the fracture or ossified structure in the spine, it can be easily resolved by exercising the muscles correctly. Most of the disorders seen are caused by mistakes made in daily life. It is possible and easy to fix with simple precautions and a few correct exercises. At the beginning of these measures, attention should be paid to the correct sitting position and position during walking. The main decisive factor is a little strengthening of the right muscles. The ideal standing position should be:
¬ The ears should be exactly at the shoulders when viewed from the side without tilting the head straight forward and backward.

¬ The chest should stand upright and the dimples in the waist and neck should not be more or less than normal. The abdomen should be flat. Shoulders should be straight, not as if they were collapsed.
The sitting position should be:
¬ The waist is upright, the waist is slightly curved backwards and supported by a medium hard orthopedic pillow,
¬ Head is not bent forward or backward,
¬ Hip and knee angle 90 degrees,
¬ The angle of the knees and feet should be 90-110 degrees.
¬ In computer use, we should sit in such a way that the elbows do not go behind the body, do not put a strain on the shoulder and neck, and the upper part of the computer screen is at eye level.
The ideal lying position should be:
¬ The bed should be firm and flat, and should not spring with body weight. ¬ Head and body should be in harmony.
¬ The pillow should not be too low or too high (it should be enough to support the cupping of the neck).
¬ Too soft pillows are harmful. (too hard and high pillows cause the head to hang and the neck strain).
